In 2001 I made a wise decision to study abroad, I packed my bags and took off to Spain. It was a life-changing experience that paved the way for individualism and resilience. After 3 months in Salamanca, i decided to take another 3 months to travel the EU, via eurorail, sola! I encouraged my sister to do the same; to step out of her comfort zone and go abroad. Since then she has studied, taught and, lived in several countries around the world making intimate connections.
My parents and I have been fortunate enough to travel with her as she truly provides us an “epic experience” doing her research to take us on an authentic journey! 20+ years later, Spain has become like a second home-so very near and dear to our hearts.
Europe is the hub of fashion, where it all began, there is a sense of unique style and expression. Walking the streets of Spain you see a different look with every glance. People take time and think about how they dress. Most of the greatest designers in the world originated in Europe. I am truly inspired to bring back with me incredible flair and create an “axis of elegance” on our beautiful peninsula.
